Things have been crazy around here. We are trying to decide the best way to get to DC. Well we know we have to drive, but do we all drive together and sell Bens truck or do we drive the both vehicles so we know that Ben has reliable transportation when we get there? Bens latest idea is to do a partial DITY move. We rent a trailer to pull behind the truck, get both vehicles and the trailer weighed empty then load both up with as much heavy stuff that we are going to bring, then reweigh both. They pay you to do this per pound. Is it really worth the hassle? Then I think well it would be nice to have some of our stuff there with us. According to the housing office we should be able to get a house the same or next day upon arrival. Then the next question, do we get the kids a DVD player for the car? Well I think this will be a life saver. 4 1/2 days with board kids. Ben thinks they can just look out the windows to keep themselves occupied. Did I mention I will be driving the van alone with the kids and dog? We have to also figure out when we want the movers to come and try to coordinate this with the trailer. This is becoming a big pain in the you know what.
The kids are very excited to move. Scottie wants to go now. Sydney's main concern is if we are going to bring her pajamas. Out of all the things her pajamas. This girl keeps me on my toes. Today Scotties friend Jasmine came over after school. They all played so nice together. The sat right down and wanted to draw. Scottie and Jas used a stencil to draw sailboats. Poor Syd had no idea how to trace, but she sure did try. I heard the kids go OH Sydney that great thats beautiful. I think they are talking about her picture which at first they were. Sydney has learned how to show off. I go to the table to see her picture and this is what I find:

Sydney decided that she didn't like the stencils to much even thou they fight like crazy over them, but she loves makeup and painting hert face with markers! At least we had enough smarts to buy markers that wash off.
